Job Description:
1. Develops and tests product code according to BMC quality standards
2. Maintains knowledge of product environments and applicable
software technologies
3. Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code,
problem status information, and design documents
4. Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution
of product-related problems according to BMC support standards.
5. Completes code and other deliverables on schedule.
6. Performs thorough unit testing; supports systems and
integration testing as required to provide a quality product.
7. Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product
documentation.
8. Defines the functional specification of program modules
ensuring functionality, quality and ease of maintainability.
9. Accurately estimates the size and scope of the development
effort as measured by the product delivery schedule
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications : 1. Bachelor/Master of engineering in Computers
2. 3+ years of product development experience
3. Experience in designing and developing using Java technologies
4. Experience with distributed systems or large enterprise
background
5. Ability to design and develop Object Oriented software
6. Good knowledge of database technologies
7. Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging
skills
8. Must have take-charge personality and the ability to drive a
plan to completion
9. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills
10. Team player and open communicator
