Job Description:
Responsibilities: 1. Performing valuation, financial modelling and research analysis that leads to insights
2. Managing risk and practice management
3. Performing due diligence that leads to insight
4. Articulating TAS value propositions and developing the
business
Technical Skills Requirements:
1. Perform detailed reviews of Excel financial models as part of a review team, arrive at preliminary conclusions and prepares a report of findings in a standardised format (client-deliverable standard)
2. Develops advanced skills in Excel and uses model auditing
tools and other software packages (where appropriate)
3. Build Excel financial models based on specifications provided
by the onsite modeling teams. This requires working closely with the onsite
engagement team and having regular interactions to share thoughts and provide
value-add
4. Modify financial models to enhance functionalities, such as
simplifying formulae and formatting the model
5. Perform the above activities with reasonable independence and
provide value-added inputs
6. Manage own time to budgets and communicate progress against
plan to assignment manager
7. Should be flexible working at client sites on model
build/review projects and should be willing to travel internationally.
Candidate Profile:
Additional Skills Requirements: 1. Have excellent knowledge of accounting principles and finance
2. Have a sound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in working
and learning to use it to an advanced level
3. Be able to document complex technical issues to non-technical
staff
4. Have strong interpersonal skills
5. Have an eye for detail and be able to work under pressure
6. Have excellent written and spoken English skills, and be able
to discuss and reason complex technical issues
7. Actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group
8. Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks
9. Contribute pro-actively to building team spirit
